Meet Allyson

Hi, I'm Allyson, owner of I Do Pretty! With 20 years in the beauty industry, I bring a love of creativity and connection to every appointment. 

I started my journey and education at Make-Up Designory in Burbank, then furthered my education and graduated with honors from Paul Mitchell Costa Mesa. I spent 10 years working in television and film in Los Angeles, with credits including Millionaire Matchmaker, Real Housewives Orange County, Scrubs, Life in the ER, and Vanderpump Rules. 

Today, I specialize in bridal hair and makeup and welcome clients in-salon hair services at I Do Pretty in Ankeny. 

Outside the salon, you'll find me spending time with my two daughters, working with horses, wakesurfing, and giving back through community events and organizations.
